Use of Chemicals for Local Technologies !
Farmers generally use local materials to make local indigenous technologies(ITKs). Nowadays chemicals are handy to the farmers. Because they use a lot of chemicals as pesticides, herbicide, hormones etc.
So the farmers may be tempted to use these chemicals to evolve indigenous technologies. And these technologies can be potentially harmful to all.
Some Company people who are not fully knowing the Agrochemical Science are helping the farmers secretly to do this !
Unlike before, the locally available materials have changed. The farmers now have a range of agrochemicals from Multi-National Companies(MNCs) in their houses for crop production and protection ! So they can now use these to “improvise” and “design” technologies which can be very harmful !
